well, that’s just too bad. welcome to a third world country my dear, where
an IF microsope is a luxury most hospitals cannot afford, let alone the
price of a rental contract for these things. beggars can’t be choosers.
Bad and dangerous example of teaching student how to replace a Hg lamp.
Replacing a Hg lamp is one thing, it needs to be aligned too.
thats the wrong way to change a mercury lamp. 1st of all you need to
disconect the black lead conecting the light housing to the transformer as
there are large capacitors in side the transformer that hold charge and can
give u a big shock. 2nd you should be wearing safety glasses. 3rd when you
put the new globe in, it should be placed in the flexable end first
otherwise if u make one rong move you will break the globe and u dont want
to do that given the price of these globes.
