Video leaves out important information, your levels should be forward all the way. Also he didn't make clear to turn prop counter clockwise prior to reassembling.

What grease. and where did you order the gimbal bearing.

Add 8 hours for a drive that wasn't just apart and every part lubed and was reassembled yesterday!!! I've done this job many times on real world boats and it's just not this easy. Especially if the boat has done any salt water time.

Lloyd Cisco says:

Better adjust your shift cables lol. Reverse not so cool? Your suposto turn prop backwards to check forward and reverse gear the way u did it checks nothing and that's not the grease u use

Jeremy Rowe says:

Word to the wise, I have replaced mine twice! Never again, do this make dang sure all of the gear oil is empty and the hose is off. Make sure the oil is out of the line then put it on. If oil gets on the gasket it will leak water into the housing. Just saying two minutes makes the difference. Drain the oil in the reservoir first or take the hose off and empty out oil in line.

Fantastic, thanks !

Fstarocka Burns says:

best to check alignment with the tool before putting it all back, sometimes engine mounts wear and the alignment goes out, in fact you HAVE to do this when you have a worn bearing like that (improper alignment). Greets from a fellow saffa in Cali – 🙂

Jamison Swimm says:

and you have to take over the drive name because why?? lol..

Dion Damato says:

How long did it take you to complete this job?

Steve Bagwell says:
