Thanks for the help! I changed my brake bulb in less than 10 minutes. Without this, it would have been a lot longer. Both left brake bulbs weren’t working, but I only replaced one and the other worked after that.
Too bad the entire taillight has to be removed just to change a bulb. FoMoCo products used to have a cut-out in the sheet metal just for that reason. I suspect dealers & mechanics were complaining it was too easy and owners were doing it themselves. Now it’s just hard enough where some owners will take it in to a dealer just for that. At any rate, my wife and I still love her ’05 Sable!
