An in-depth explanation of how to install a Flo-Torq II hub and prop onto a Mercury 90 ELPTO outboard. One thing that wasn’t mentioned in the video was that to properly seat the hub into the prop, it’s important to idle for 5 minutes in forward and 5 minutes in reverse prior to attempting to run the engine wide open. Failure to properly seat the hub will cause it to spin within the prop and prevent the boat from getting on plane. Be sure to stop back for more tips on tackle and boat rigging, as well as on the water content!
