Remember also to inspect the rotor to be sure it’s not warped, badly
scratched, or thinner than minimum thickness, and inspect the sliders to be
sure they slide easily without binding. If the sliders don’t slide well you
need to disassemble and lube them with either specialized high temp caliper
grease or silicone paste (not normal wheel bearing grease). Have a look at
the wheel cylinders to be sure they aren’t leaking, and look for gear oil
that might suggest an underlying axle seal failure.
