Timing Belt Marks 2000 to 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser 2.4L DIY

A mistake some mechanics make when lining the upper cam marks is not having them perfectly horizontal. I can be difficult, but try to get a straight line of site when setting the upper cams or your timing will be off. After your marks are set, put the timing belt on in the way that the slack fall to the belt tensioner. Doing it this way will keep your marks in line when you pull the tension on the belt.
