Turpentine? I can’t really say, since I haven’t tried to remove it from
anything yet. Tradesy(dot)com/weddings might save you some work. Seems like
a big hassle to remove it all after, and then return them. Not to mention
the chemical exposure.
Hi Kat, thanks for the tutorial. I am wedding planner and my bride wants
gold mercury glass. I don’t want to have to purchase a million pieces and
then end up with all of them. We want to rent the glassware. I understand
how to make the mercury glass look. My question to you: Have you
successfully removed the mercury glass finish? I am thinking, rent, add
faux finish, remove and return glassware. Any ideas?
