She’s on the water bud. I’ve still got a few bugs but I’m pretty damn proud
of my results with a successful rebuild.

The I6 Merc is one of the best out-of-the-hole motors ever. I have 3 of
them. Your motor sounds great if you ask me. I said before in a recent
viewing, never start an outboard without water cause you burn the impeller
in seconds. Not starting properly is usually ignition or fuel. You have a
great motor and its practically new now. Replace the water pump housing and
water pump. No need to replace or rebuild your lower unless the seals fail
(milky gear oil) or it wont go in gear.

You should message me privately. I can probably hook you up with someone
who has one. They aren’t cheap.

Good video man. I thick i may have a faulty dizzy, it will start then cut
out soon after. Or it fire while the starter is cranking, but once you turn
the key back ignition/on it cuts out. Not exactly cheap to buy replacement
triggers either, i could find second hand ones but how long will they last
for..

cturboaddict says:

Yeah I know. CDI is getting close to $375 for the trigger and the same for
the switchbox. I wish I had ADI ignition…. Next motor build I’m thinking
I will.

cturboaddict says:

Thanks man, its been a long process. Next up is lower unit rebuild
possibly, Stay tuned and SUBSCRIBE!!! Hydrostream baby~~~ Yeah! Those
things are Bad@ss. What inline is it? If your changing your mind, I might
be interested in a purchase. I’d like to go V6 power, but I’m really
becoming accustomed to these inlines.

widebodyattack says:

Awesome, man. Just started following this. I grew up on a couple inline 6s
and just live them. Bought a Vector last year with one and burnt a piston
up first day on the water do to some factors. Definitely want to rebuild it
even though I have gone V6 power.
