Thanks for this, I got stuck in straight away without thinking things through untill i noticed it was different from my Ford Cougar, Mine is a right hand drive so i’d taken the wrong side off, ha ha
We’re glad our video could help! That’s good to know- we’ll make a note of it in our video.
Awesome video, thank you so much. The narrator says you need a T-20 Torx driver, but on my Mercury Cougar 2002, you need a T-30.
Thankfully that’s not what happened!
TY for making this video so easy to follow. But what really would have sucked is if you were to take the new part back with you and the junk yard owner would have wanted to charge you for it. Can you imagine?
Just found this and thank you very much for sharing. I am a 55 yr old woman and I just changed my cabin air filter!!!
Helpful, thanks!
thank so much for this great video…the owner’s manual says that you need to remove the wiper arms first!…ridiiculous!
informative video
– haha, thanks! This thing barely qualified as a car – most of the body parts were missing. The junk yard owner was a little suspicious of three clean, well-dressed guys with camera equipment. On that particular shoot, we just left the new filter in the car. On the way out, we were commenting on the irony of sneaking parts IN to a junkyard.
