Sorry about having it too fast for you, but if I did show it any slower I felt it would lose the interest of the viewers. Glad it helped you out and you were able to safely replace your starter and save some money.
I really liked this detailed video but I wished that it was in slow motion but its just what I needed to find to change out my starter on my Sable without paying alot out of pocket and no time to sit and wait until a mechanic gets around to it. Much appreciated! 🙂
Actually dropping the front pipe out was necessary on this vehicle. If I didn’t the starter wouldn’t come through the hole. Tried it without removing the exhaust pipe previously and the starter wouldn’t drop.
i looked this video up because the ground wire on the top mounting bolt kept coiling around my socket, the whole stud came on, unlike on yours where you got just the nut to come free…..but mitchell program gives you 0.7 to do the whole job….taking the front pipe out isnt necessary
