Got the Strutmasters kit for my wife’s 95 crown vic w/leaking air bags –
watched the video – pretty much describes what’s needed – except for
seriously glossing over the challenge of taking off the nut at the top of
old shock (some serious clearance issues) … but finally got it off both
sides with 14mm ratchet head combination wrench. No way I was going to get
the top of the new shocks the same way – so took out the rear seat, drilled
a pilot hole thru the shock top mount point/hole to locate the top of the
shock and then used my Dremel tool w/cutting wheel to cut out access to the
top of the shock – was able to fit the rubber grommet, metal washer, and
nut to the top of the shock post and tighten down w/14mm long socket –
primered and sealed the opening with aluminum repair tape. The car rides
nice and level and just cut the “check air suspension” idiot light per the
instructions provided by Strutmasters… mission accomplished.

Can i cut or burn does red springs to make the car 2″s lower? Or can i
replace does red springs with some eiback springs with the same diamitor,
but just lower??? I plan to pit some 20″rims on my mercedes and i dont want
to have a gap.

You didn’t put a spring isolator on the top. Will that cause any problems
in the future?
