#SportEdition Mercedes w203 the handbrake was loose no handbrake at all ,just checked on the backside under seat seal and there you can find the handbrake adjustment located check it out as it may be the screw loose,checked mine and just adjusted and now the handbrake are great.
Easy fix in 20 min work.
