hey man, just wanna say thanks for the last msg. i will definitely do that
instructions.. now i know. my bad if i have a ton of question, just
learning still.. w202 🙂

TheAsiantard says:

How did you get this stuff so cheap?

Ronel Pakingan says:

hi man, i got a c230 too. i lowered my car, bought a h&r springs. question
is, should i change my spring pads to lower it more or just keep it on
no.5? front.. love watching your videos man

fupabox says:

@mazb6t thanks :),,,only the 1 trailing link and the rear shocks done so
far and the ass end rides so good it’s ridiculous…didn’t notice it was
bad before but now its so much tighter and smoother…now compared to it
the front end feels like s**t…lol…gotta find time to do finish the rear
arms and the front end…

Ronel Pakingan says:

yeah man, i got the spring compressor tho. yah just not satisfied how the
stance ended, so I’m gonna replace the pads, u know where site i can get
these stuff? or any w202 stuff.. I’m kinda w202 junkie too like you.. keep
it up

fupabox says:

depends on how low you want to go..and whether you want to remove the
springs again to do it…to change the pads you need to compress the spring
and remove the pad on top of it to swap for a thinner one…if you can
borrow a real Mercedes spring compresser it wouldn’t be too hard and you
would prob. be able to do it with just the shock and wheel removed

fupabox says:

your very welcome

fupabox says:

@bystrov2007 lucked out…usautoparts had a huge sale with a 40% discount
ontop..so I decided to buy almost all the suspension parts whether I needed
them or not 🙂

fupabox says:

all those codes seem to point to a faulty secondary air injection
pump…check to make sure you hear the injection pump on a dead cold
start…sounds like a hair dryer and is located under the alternator..it
should come on for about a minute when the car is first started cold and
supplies more air to the cat. conv. on rich cold starts to ensure the
converters properly burn the rich exhaust..if it isn’t working it will
throw the O2 sensor codes (p0135, p0141) if it doesn’t come on check the
fuse

Ronel Pakingan says:

thank you, i joined some forum but they took million years to response. 🙂
nah man, don’t have a video of my car, but i will sometime. do u have
monoblock rims too? sorry didn’t watch all the vids yet, this is my first
car and i had it for a yr now.. still learning, but I’m lovin it.. thank
you for the info man..

fupabox says:

the dealership has them for I think around $12 each..make sure you have
your vin # as there are two different types depending on year of
build…also try rockauto..or usautoparts…both should have them in
stock…any vids of your car? be cool to see it 🙂

fupabox says:

I lucked out when checking an online parts sale..they had some parts at
80-90% off..

i want to thank you for these videos, i recently purchased a 1997 c280 and
the previous owner did not take care of it at all. Since i got it for a
good price i cant complain but im left with trying to correct everything.
Your videos are a great help. would you happen to know anything about these
codes p1453 p1420p0443p1525p0135p0141 and how to correct them. thanks again
for all your info.
