Today, Josh shows how to diagnose and change the glowplugs in his Mercedes 300D. At the most basic level, this will work with all diesels with glow plugs, with some differences. However, diagnosis will stay the same. Would be great if it was that easy every time. Not very often all 6 come out with out any breaking. Dpuk do a good video on how to remove snapped glow plugs from the om606.

Very useful! You didn´t have to scan the engine to find out which glow plugs were bad. My mechanic says it is necessary, since each scan is $40..

Changed the glow plugs in my '99 E300. Was really simple, the only hard part was getting the clamp loose from the intake.
