Benz has a specific wrench to get the spark plugs off but you can use
whatever works – the MBZ tool doesn’t always work. It can be hard to get
the valve cover off depending on how many miles its been.

Agreed on the crankcase ventilation gasket, but I haven’t been able to find
one.

Thanks for the video.

2005 CLK 320 dealer cost gasket only replacement wanted $560. 2
replacements needed one at 45,000 miles / 2012 again 67,000 miles / 2015
smell the oil burning. Live in South Carolina found a guy no dealer price
paid but still feel anything over $200 bucks is rip off!! What do you think
is fair price to have work done?

to double bag it… Just in case the bag fell off her head he’d still have
his. Either way, been enjoying the videos….

Mercedes benz valve covers on these engines hardly ever leak. What leaks is
the PVC chambers on top of the valve covers, they can be removed and
resealed with the valve cover still on the engine. Just a note.
