Thanks this certainly helped. My only problem is getting the bottom bolt undone. I have a rattle gun but obviously it doesnt have enough power.

Brian, this is an awesome video, direct to the point. Because of that I was capable of replacing the rear shocks on my W164 yesterday in record time! Had to borrow an electric impact for the lower bolt, but everything else was a piece of cake. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for this video. Made this job in my garage much easier. Have you done a similar video for the W164 front shock/strut replacement? If so, where is it?
This is just ridiculous! All that work just to get to those two bolts. Total BS! And the shocks fail at like 60k miles so you have to change them out.
Awesome tutorial though. Love the way it's just straight to the point.
