Hafa Adai…how much do you charge to change out the regulator for the window. same make and model?

One more thing, a friend who worked at a prestigious body shop many years ago "hotwired" the windows to close them for me. Does that perhaps mean the window motor may still be ok and I only need the regulator(s) like you used?

Does each door have this type motor? Two windows on my 1998 ML320 work and two don't.
Also, my driver's door lock is not working neither does the key fob control it. (Key fob dropped on the very cold ground during the Polar Vortex of 2014, cracked instantly. There is no alarm on my car and I cannot lock it (dangerous), I only use the fob for the ignition.) The automatic lock button on the center console works for the other three doors.
Any help is appreciated.
