Ah man, a 95 E320 with 44k miles came up on the insurance auction… Pretty
minimal front damage, bags didn’t deploy. Guess at 44k on probably the most
reliable Merc ever, I just HAVE to buy that, huh? Haha

mine snapped off its place (( i hit a truck with it don’t ask 😛 )) and i
could NOT put it back in !! now i know its the clip thingy and i’m going to

I wonder if you encountered an issue with position memory on mirror going
haywire once in a while and setting the mirror in a strange position?
Dealer wants to replace the whole mirror assembly (pricey…). Is it
electrical (wires, motor, connector, etc) or mechanical issue?
