Thanks! Please don’t take this the wrong way, be careful with the K&N
stuff. OEM filter size and products for these cars are more than enough
(more than you can force in at regular atmospheric pressure without the aid
of a blower or turbo.) The reason I am advising you is because the K&N
products do not filter smaller airborne debris that the paper filters can.
I like to remove the paper filters at about the halfway point of replacing
them and empty out the dirt to maintain performance.Good luck
You’re welcome! The reason I am making these videos from time to time is
because I think allot of folks are afraid to work on their cars, especially
European cars. Nonetheless, because of good engineering, I think Mercedes
are much easier and more accessible to work on than many cars on the market
and I want to promote the DIY spirit and affordability of these cars.

thanks for the advice i didn’t know that about the K&N filters . now i
think im just going for the regular filters instead of K&N .
what type of lube should i buy when it comes to putting back the air cover
system ..
