How can I put back the shifter wood trim in MB 07 Eclass, I removed it and
can’t put it back

HiTechElectronic says:

If your speakers and wiring are good and not shorted then your unit needs
to be repaired.

Jamaica Dancehall TV says:

the problem is it turns off while im driving, and not with the ignition

HiTechElectronic says:

You do not need to turn on the ignition to power up the radio in most
Mercedes models. The radio will turn off by itself to avoid discharging the
battery in case you forgot to turn it off.

Jamaica Dancehall TV says:

Can i remove it without those keys? I have this car from my mom, but she
doesn’t know where they are, and I want audio system with usb&aux port
available in front panel. (sorry for my english, I’m only learning.)

HiTechElectronic says:

No, you need the keys, otherwise you could damage the dash. You could
borrow it from your Mercedes Mechanic. By the way your English is just fine.

Yes, you could buy them on ebay. Here is the ebay Item number: 200806010701

TheThingamajig says:

Another common problem that amateur mechanics DONT know how to fix is
lights in either displays stop working or specific buttons losing function
(AC toggle for example). These are causes by he fuses which are under the
hood. Easy fix

HiTechElectronic says:

It is very similar and uses the same keys.

Alex Lesher says:

Wow that is really easy.. I figured it would be a pain in the ass
considering its a benz! Sweet

HiTechElectronic says:

Yes, it works for C & S class as well.

Check them in Ebay, name is CAR PANEL AUDIO DVD GPS STEREO DASH REFIT
MOLDING REMOVAL INSTALL TOOL KIT SET 🙂

Hell1fire1 says:

You dont need the keys. Take an old credit card or similar. Cut 2 strips,
fiting the holes. poke them in there. and take the stereo out. Its a little
bit more dificult. But its easier than driving 30 min to your closest
dealer for the keys.

HiTechElectronic says:

You could buy them from a Mercedes Dealer or just borrow it from your
Mercedes mechanic.

Afg Sher says:

does those keys work for c class 2?

TheEluviums says:

I live in Latvia (city-Liepaja) near the shore of baltic sea, there is a
bit problematic to get those keys. I’ve tried already. Are they all the
same? ’cause I’m maybe going to order them from e-bay.

Brian Roland says:

For some reason the keys will not work on my car. The dealership says the
inside where the keys are suppose to lock onto must be damaged. Do you know
of any other way to remove the stereo in this case?

HiTechElectronic says:

There is an amplifier in the car which needs to be hooked up to the new
stereo. You should have it done by your local car stereo shop.
