My mirror fell off and I had it taped on for a few months an tape finally tore due to the cold weather. I'm so glad I searched and found your video. Very easy to follow instructions. Since the car is so old, I thought a clip might have been broken off, but it was not. This was so easy. It took me a couple of tries, but snapped right in.
Some id1ot just hit my mirror. Problem is I just lost that metal string keeping the mirror there. I quess i could just make a new one out of metal string?

Excellent clear instructions, I would have never figured it out on my own. Mercedes vehicles are very easy to repair once you know how….

Interesting design, Basically they made it so it falls off easily when someone hits it but I feel it might come off too easily
