God bless you brother!! Just got a Mercedes a week ago and this morning had this problem. Wouldn't start. Key wasn't being detected. Found the blown fuse. Replaced it. Back on the road. Hallelujah!! Thank you

I have a 2005 C230 so same thing is happening to me booth remotes only work when I put the IR at the door handle sensor so I watched your video and effectively the number 8th 7.5 fuse was blown so I replaced it but it keeps blowing the fuse what this could cause it?

I just replaced the remote battery last month. Last week I started noticing the key doesnt work randomly but when i took out the batteries and put them back in it worked. Today I came home from work, pulled out the key, and tried locking the door, it wouldnt work. Had no problem starting the car when i left work or any other issue. The red light on battery works anytime I click a button. Please help. Car: 2005 C230 Sedan @easysteps

Lee Olaeta says:

I've looked all over U-Tube trying to find a video on how to remove the 2005 Push to Start shifter. everything works just fine on my clk 500. except for the push to start shifter.
Help please…

Hakob says:

My w211 is having the same problem, but it also won't start the car. I replaced both the keyfob and car battery, but no fix. The keyfob light blinks when pressing the buttons, and the cars lights and stereo works fine. I checked the fuse box in the trunk, but none of the fuses are bad or blow. My 8th fuse was actually a 30A fuse, the 9th, however, was 7.5A – neither looked bad.

Any thoughts?

Zuleyka Torres says:

was your car starting up when the doors wouldn't opening or close up

PETER MAINWALD says:

I have this issue.. The second I replace the fuse, it blows…

Ste .L says:

What if this only occurs intermittently and usually only when it's below freezing outside.

once I open doors with blade key I can start engine with no issues. Or if I press the buttons 10x it eventually opens

Max Dominguez says:

Can anyone tell me how the keyless go works? My key fob works perfectly (unlocks, locks, opens trunk, etc.) but I never was able to figure out how keyless go works. Since I got it from the dealer, this has never worked. The way I understand it, I should be able to just walk up to my Benz with keys in my pocket and just be able to push the button on the door handle and it should unlock my doors? Anyone else have this problem? I drive a 2011 C300 Sport.

Any info would be great. Thanks!

Angela Osborne says:

I have a 2010 E-350 Coupe with two key fobs. My everyday key fob dropped & stopped working; it wouldn't do anything at all … other than blink red. I've replaced with a new battery and still no action.  My secondary key fob works just fine without any issue.
Thanks!

Mike Trainer says:

Outstanding dude,it fixed my problem, for months the damn thing would not lock/unlock the…had to go very close to the door sensors but even then I had to use the key most of the times. We all know how hard it is to get that skinny key out and turn it….nightmare. I went to the dealer and considered buying a new key, thinking the one I have must be faulty…you made my day, thank you.
