Great video. Don’t forget to unblock the water drain at the base of the engine compartment air intake unit.!! There is a large spike, but needs flushing out to clear any debris.
I have a 2012 and need to replace the resistor. Is it down there under the glove box paneling also?
Any idea why the water gets in I'm having an intermittent issue with my ml350 as well heat stops working intermittently especially after car wash.
My e550 no problem with heat or ac but it makes a squeaking noise

I have a Ml350 2006 and lately when I turn the a/c on (heat or cool), it works fine for a while. After some time, I can hear the fan on but no air comes out from any vent. What can be the problem?
My fan works if i open it up and spin it. Is this fixable or do i need a new fan?
these Benz are amazingly built to fail… rain water pools in the blower control !
Fan on my GL550 turns on by itself & drains the battery. Going to tackle this next week. Thanks for making this video.

Being that you have been down there, I need to change my expansion valve in my ML, anything to say about how to access? Or just get blower motor assembly out of way like regular passenger car?

Recently did a 1999 toyota rav blower motor and resister not too bad .got my parts from rockauto and fit perfecto.notced on asian vehicles all metric 10,12,14,17,19mm sizes european vehicles odd sizes and lots of torx connectors.most mechanics in my area prefer to work on asian and domestic brands.off the clock of course
