I’m going to start with a layer of Eastwood’s rubberized rust encapsulator,
and then, if I can find it, go over that with Transtar 4313 tex coat chip
guard.
Undecided as to whether or not I’ll actually use those. I’m not sure I like
the idea of drilling the wheel lip and creating potential for yet more rust.
So you’re planning to put the chrome trim pieces that you got on the wheel
wells in lieu of anything else?
How are you planning to undercoat it ? Which product are you planning on
using?
