The belching idiot ruined the good vid

juanjohnism says:

Anti seize is not a lubricant. You must use high temperature grease
designed for brake slider pins. Anti seize is for metal to metal
applications, and you only need a pea size amount.

Paul Walls says:

Give me the specifications of the white grease I need to use if you please.
Thanks!

Audiophila says:

9:47 secret noise^^

Nox665 says:

You are NOT supposed to smear grease on every thread you see because that
greatly affect the torque required for correctly fastening that bolt/nut.

RGonzo07 says:

Hi, just curious if this is the same for every car. I have a 2004 Mazda 6.
Thank you

albduke1 says:

Can you do video on total drum ,break cyl.,spring kit job turn drums thanks

gsleve says:

If using another type of lubricant for the caliper pins it is a good idea
to wipe them clean before applying a different grease. Another tip be good
to open the bleeder screw to expel the old brake fluid due in part to the
abs system if the brake fluid has not been changed it is dirty and could
clog orifices within the abs system. Other than this vid was very good,
just a few learning tips over the years

mel577 says:

What happens if you over tight or don’t tighten the screws for the caliper
the right way? I see everyone actually using proper measuring bars to
tighten them and stuff. Is it essential that I do that as well instead of
just tightening at random?

bjlewis101 says:

Cool, but did I miss where you changed the rotors according to the title?

Nolan Vancooten says:

oooop that burp though…

princessbrandan says:

Thank you for the class! You’re a great instructor! I now know what kind of
questions to the person who is going to be replacing my pads!

pinkeye00 says:

Real pro man

tigertruckerman says:

very good thanks

SergiosSarita says:

You’re awesome! Your video helped my sister and me how to do this it took
us longer to get the tire off then to change the pads lol

Richard Mirnda says:

how do you take out the rotor on mazda 3 2005?

Shiwei Luan says:

Hi, could you send me your spec sheet for repair? My car is 2005 mazda
3s.Thank you very much.

Geo Robo says:

bad advice putting grease on wheel nuts !!!!

PapaGeorg10 says:

When you are using the micrometer to measure the rotors how tight do you
twist the end when you measure? Also how do you read the micrometer?

docho borcho says:

love the details on ur explanation but the video quality on some angles
makes it very hard to see what you are doing

tigertruckerman says:

hello from bonny scotland your videos are great thanks, dont take any notice
of the morons out there slagging you of they are sad.

Rik J. Smith says:

Great video and a lot of help to me. Thanks

gsleve says:

Anti-seize would not be a good idea to apply to the wheel studs this will
increase the torque value by 20-40 percent which could cause rotor run out
heat is unable to dissipate heat quick enough rotor will absorb it instead

Sam m says:

The detail is appreciated however you should mention some cars even the
same model MAzda have the turn style brake pistons that have to be
compressed with a special tool.

Peace Butter says:

Well done and clearly articulated. Thank you.

210Agustin says:

@sam m no special tool is needed, just use needle nose pliers they work
great for me!

Xiaolong Shao says:

Thank you for sharing. by the way, where to get a tool box like yours?

Joseph9536 says:

Can you put anti seize compound on the back of the brake pads?

ZezenyaRose says:

“Brave wife”

runningcockroach says:

skip to 9:00 to get to what you came here for.

David Langley says:

Very cool, great explanations and easy to understand as a DIY-er like
myself.

ehollopeter says:

Is there a standard size bolt that holds the caliper on?

MrGamerheezy says:

Is your torque wrench easy to reset back to 0?

DIYautotech says:

@bjlewis101 Yes I’m sorry about that. I didn’t actually replace the rotors
on this vehicle and never noticed I had labeled the title that way. Thanks.

B Major says:

great video…

Truth128 says:

best and most complete instructions on this subject so far!

clandestino78 says:

Very good video … But more light

631flyrail says:

Informative, the problem with the video is not so much the angles but the
lighting. When you point the camera into a britely lit sky the foreground
tends to go dark. you can remedy this by adding more light to foreground
with something like a halogen work light or you can just avoid having
something brighter than what ever it is you are trying to focus on . I will
check out your other videos

dcoolmkia says:

what kind of compund did you put on the caliper pins? and do you grease up
the back part of the pad that touches the caliper? thanks

Stan Chvetsov says:

Anti-seize compound

Alexey Gavrilov says:

perfect… if i don’t have dial indicator what i have to do to measure
rotor runout?
