it could be a few things, but that would be a good start, if the engine
light is on, then just put a engine reader on it and it will give you the
code and just research it
Looks similar to a sparkplug size, hope you tied that wire before the
connector 🙂 I can see you digging a trench with walls if you have to do a
lot to the underside. Dam smart looking machine 🙂
Did you ever find the problem with the hesitation with the ford ranger? I
have the exact same problem with my 1994 ford ranger 4.0. Only has 31,000
miles on. It’s been sitting a lot over the years. I’ve put new plugs,
wires, coil pack. Runs perfect some of the time and rough and no power now
and then. Check engine light never comes on. Any ideas?

@wazclan1964 you were talking about the wrong sensor. A MAF. Senaor is
different from a O2 sensor
I have a 94 ranger v6 and its having hesitation issues every now and then,
could it be the oxygen sensor, or the mass flow?
