Got a 2017 Mazda 3 and it's a phenomenal daily driver.
How about the fact that Mazda cars along with the SUV s are direct injection engines and have to deal with the carbon build up on the valves over time?? Anybody know more on that, is it possible to get the valves clean i heard those quick spray cans they sell are not the best solution to the problem, is it expensive to do a fuel induction cleaning, that's what's holding me up from buying a Mazda 3 or CX 5
My problem with Mazda is their infotainment. If it was touch screen I'd buy one. But I hate having to use the scroll. Love the way the car drives and rides otherwise.
Isn't there a problem with the turbos burning oil? I've read that there's a TSB on it and a class action lawsuit.

Elon Musk Tesla's all they do is have a fit and finish issues body gaps that are too wide they rattle they won't last as long as a Mazda

I bought a 2023 Mazda 3 Hatchback with a manual transmission in Novemeber. My god was it hard to find. Well, well, well worth the search though. What a magnificent vehicle. I have absolutely 0 regrets. If you're looking for a reliable, well made, well thought out, fun, PRACTICAL sedan, I recommend none other than the Mazda 3. I was lucky enough to find one with a stick, but the automatics in them are great too. The base model price of these cars is nearly unbeatable for the sector they occupy. Toyota Corrola Hatch and Honda Civic SI/Civic do not compare to this car, honestly. I think that Toyota and Honda pushing so many units and making so many sales, has caused a lessened vigilance to finer detail. Mazda is quite a niche brand comparatively. When you step into, and drive one of these vehicles, you can tell What Mazda's objectives were when making it. When I drove a Corrola Hatch it felt tight and crammed. It was also very disappointing on the power front and just wasn't fun to drive. I haven't had a chance to drive any new Civics. My Mazda 3 makes 191 Horsepower and 186 Pound feet of torque. The car weighs 3100 pounds~ with my trim and powertrain. It is definitely enough power. I have not at any point felt like the car is lacking in power. I do find it strange Mazda does not offer the 2023 with a manual transmission and a turbo. They also do not offer the 2023 with a manual and AWD. You can only get a stick with FWD and NA. Not a big deal to me, I don't care for AWD or a Turbo; but it is definitely a strange choice. All in all. I love my car. If any of you get a chance to test drive one, hop on that opportunity. Mazda FTW.
