Yes i had to remove the engine mount and holded engine with the oil pan with jack. Check engine light with p0012 after changing the vvt solenoid is gone and my mazda 6 is running great.
After changing vvt solenoid i was still getting p0012. But following this it was stuck a little then started moving. I was able to take care of the issue. No more check engine light and car runs great my mazda 6.
Hi , I want to replace the electric variable valve timing motor, with another one, is it straight forward? Do I need to consider something? Should I rotate the joint of the motor to a so called default value or something?
Mate thanks for the short video did all the troubleshooting changed the parts down the line no help reworked my search and ur video popped up went back out took cmp back off sure enough insert in cam little stuck it loosened right up slapped it back together cleared codes all good now cheers mate thanks again ❤
