What’s the Mountain Dew for? Does it give the Mazda pep?
Lucas red-n-tacky automotive grease. Around 5 bucks at Menards or Homedepot.

This helps me a lot to fix from my own.The dealership told me to replace the entire column worth of 1000$. Thanks a lot bro…….
i have the same noise, I replaced the rack and still the noise, just I have to add some grease?, my noise sounds like one of the two parts, the inner or outter is very used, I don’t know the name of those parts, the official name to request it in some autoparts store, can u tell me, I’m from Mexico, thanks a lot, that noise make me feel that the wheel will go out
Forgot to mention the required bottle of mountain dew brooo lol. Jp good vid
thats probably your control arm bushing. cheap and easy fix.
no problem im glad it helped. those noises can drive you crazy.
WOW this helped me a lot. The cracking noises were totally gone after adding some grease as there was nothing left when I removed the tube. Thanks!
yes, its a clunking noise when turning at slow speeds. its probably not your steering rack. its either this issue or your lower control arms bushings are shot or both.
Hi, thanks a lot…
By the way, my 6 is experiencing such noise, from the steering rack I think… when taking turns… Is it the same problem as yours ?
Thanks
