Due to an accident, my driver side mirror assembly for my 2011 mazda 3 needed to be replaced. Process should be the same for ’10-’13 mazda 3.
Part# are listed below:
Mirror Sub -Assy (Driver side): BBM5-69-18ZL
Body colored Cover: GS1E-69-1N7A-0B
Tools Needed:
1 x socket wrench
1 x open wrench
Would I work the same on a 2012 Mazda 6? Curious
You have helped me so much!!!! I replaced my car mirror all by self. Only difference was I used an 11mm socket wrench, 8mm was to small
We used this video to replace our passenger side mirror on our 2011 Mazda Cx-9 (using part TE73-69-12ZG) and it was so helpful! Other mirror replacement videos assumed that the door panel had to be removed, but we tried your method and it worked great…much better in my opinion than messing with the door panel. Thanks for publishing this video!
Hi, How much was the part and where did you order it from? Thanks for the video!
Arrghh! – HOW does the coloured cover go on? That's the bit I wanted to see. Not 5 minutes of you undoing a single bolt!
Hey man. I just used your video to replace the side view mirror on my Mazda 3. Thanks so much!
hey, the motor of the mirror (which folds it inside) broke and i need to replace it. does the mirror have this motor or is it sold seperated? thanks for the video!
niiieece n shiny
The back casing (the part covering the wires) broke off. However, the mirror itself is still working. Do I need to replace the entire unit, or will I be able to just attach the back casing to my current mirror?
This helped me change the mirror etc. good step by step process
