So if you need to update your Mazda Connect firmware for your Mazda Miata and other Mazda connect vehicles this video shows you how to do that process. In this video, I update my Miata from firmware 70.00.100 to firmware version 70.00.335C “Echo Fix” update. This update is a single file & doesn’t require a fail-safe file like older firmwares.
This is for model years from 2014 to today which covers MAZDA 2, MAZDA 3, MAZDA 6, MAZDA CX-3, CX-5, CX-8, CX-9 and MX-5/Miata/RF. This will not include the 2019 Mazda 3 (BP) or 2020 Mazda CX-30 (DM)!!!

I have Mazda 3 2014 with OS version 56.0.0.100 EU N and Fail-Safe Version 21.00.000 so the versions are not the same. Please advise what steps I should take in order to install the latest version.

My 2017 Mazda Mx-5 has a 00.07.000 Music data base version. I ordered the hub so my wife can use CarPlay. Iām having a difficult time figuring out exactly what to do.
Do I upload firmware 70.00.335C, or do I need to update other versions first? If so, what is the name of the file and where do I go to! Also, I just noticed my hub was missing the cables that go along with the install and I will need to order them.

Mazda includes Navigation with their head units, just have to purchase a cheap eBay SD card and it activates right away. You even get some updates for free but the SD card has to be tied to your vin after 62 miles or so.
