Great video. Looks like almost everything I was looking for. Do you know if I can replace the outer shell only? My mirror and electronics still work fine; the mirror I have has blind spot detection but all the ones I see for sale don't have it. Can I simply buy the replacement mirror and just change out the shell and keep my mirror and electronics? Perhaps you can make a video showing us how to do that. I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
I've always wanted to find out if it is possible to change the turn signals on the side mirrors to a different bulb. Like a led. If so, pls let me know

Hey man i just did this to my car but on the left side the clip that holds the mirror to the rest of the mirror assembly one of the 3 little clips that clip on to the white balls snapped off. Do u know if i will have to replace the glass or is there a way of just replacing the plastic back of the glass
Hey do you know how to access the indicator bulbs? or what bulbs are they using? thinkin of switchin it to LEDs
I only used a flat edge screwdriver to gently prize the cap from the body.Using plenty of masking tape around the mirror frame/cap.The new cap then snaps back into place! Here in the u.k. a genuine painted caps only cost me £26 including tax! What would you guys pay?
I accidentally discovered how to remove my mirror cap by skimming the edge of my garage door opening with it on my '17 GT Hatch Manual with Premium package haha
