Thanks for this…although you may want to add some voice to the video – that stupid clip took me like 20 minutes to get in, and for those that don't know – THE BULB SITS IN THE SOCKET IN THE LIGHT SWITCH 1 WAY WHICH HELPS WITH THE REINSERTING OF THE CLIP !!!!! —-

Great video it let me know what I needed to know for this particular vehicle 1 tip to pass along to anybody else that changes a bulb on any vehicle never touch the bulb with your bare hand because the natural oil in your hand will make the bulb burn out prematurely

John Rowe says:

Love my 5. Hate those lights. I have changed my own lights since '77… But these are the most difficult ever. Thanks for this.

Michelle Peacock says:

These are the dumbest headlights ever. I hate them.

Martin Labelle says:

Glad to see that i'm not the only one struggling with this stupid clip!

kim Schwartz says:

The clip that holds the lightbulb socket in place just may be the WORST idea in the history of automotive design. The brilliant engineers at Mazda certainly complicated what should've been a 3 second process into an hour of utter frustration… 2008 Mazda 5

Orri Eiriksson says:

Thank you! Ugh, that clip is a nightmare.

Dan Ryan says:

Thank you. I was about 30 seconds away from changing it with a freakin' sledge hammer!

Carmen Ledesma says:

Omg thank you so much, I did it… I watched your video and I checked my lights following your steps and everything is working great thank you so much!!!! 5 ***

Chris Blackman says:

That was super helpful – got to the retaining clip thing and would have been stumped without your video. Read some terrible things about changing the headlight on a Mazda 5 but was fine to do on the passenger side of my 2006 model. Cheers!

Thomas Hanson says:

Thanks! Would've taken me all night and it's cold!
