There's actually 2 tabs to release before you pry it apart, this can be done using a small flat head screwdriver , in the recess where the key slides into , simply insert your screwdriver into the slot each side and turn .. this will then pop it open at that end, giving you much easier access to pry it apart in the middle etc… I found using a screwdriver in the middle damaged the key fob though.. so if your not strong enough to use your nails, then a plastic or blunt steel knife can be used to slide down the crack each side slowly until it unclicks..
