I mentioned a rattail file in the tools overview, but didn’t show that in the film; I used that file to remove some powdercoating from the new strut brake line tab so the brake hose would fit in its new home.

Is it similar for the 6?

With new springs in front and old ones in the back, does the front ride higher afterward? Do you need an alignment afterward?

Just something I did that I found to speed up getting the knuckle off the shock instead of beating it with a hammer is to take Your scissor jack and a 2×4. Put the 2×4 on the knuckle and then put ur jack ontop of the 2×4 and jack against the bottom of the spring plate then spray penetrating fluid around the shock and it’ll pop right out

Nice video bro. I’m about to put in Monroe struts in the front and Monroe shocks in back on my 2010 Mazda 3 S 2.5L. I seriously liked the part where you said you put a wheel/tire under the car for safety!! I don’t want my story to end under a Mazda in a driveway either lol
