Hi HiTechElectronic – Thanks for the video. I had the problem many refer to "Unable to read program". I bought a 2010 unit part number TE69 66 DV0 on Ebay for $ 175 and used your video to remove and replace the old unit. This unit was from a salvage and the wiring plugs we still in the sockets with the wires cut off. Bonus – one NAV CD was still in it. Day 3 now and everything incl. NAV, rearview camera and the the original BOSE speakers are now working. No I've to make sure I don't let my battery fail :=) THANK YOU HiTechElectronic. PS Im in TX. If you were here, I'd have sent the defective unit to you to repair and sold it om Ebay! Cheers!

If anyone own the MAZDA CX9 AWD that has the NAV/CD radio like the one in this video, that has features like Rear backup Camera, Blue tooth connectivity for your Phone and controlls on your steering wheel. Can and what are some options of upgrading this sound system? It works fine in my car, I just would like to maintain the features and give it an upgrade with a new system by removing the old and in with the new. But I want all the features to be maintained just improved, Like maybe a larger tough screen. Also when I place purchased CD's in the player it never gives any details about the CD except Track number and all the other field are blank or have Dashes. Not to mention SIRIUS radio has to aquire updates each day when i start the car and that was never a thing. Any pointers or ideas please reply. Thanks.

Do you have one of those radios forsale I have a 2010 CX9 mazda touring with just a round knob radio in the middle no screen can i mount a screen radio ? Email me at jumpa13@gmail.com

GogoFly says:

Question: I have the same Mazda CX9 AWD and the factory radio is the one with the NAV/DVD/SAT Radio system. The issues I have are the SIRUS radio at times looses signal like when too close to a building so the range is not very good. The Music DVD player will not recognize store bought music CD's like the Name of song and Artist and I think it should but it just does not do this. The Nav system based on Purchased update Maps is a pain in the but and I would rather have a system that did not depend on info CD's for Nav locations. I would like to replace the current radio, but I cant seem to find a much improved replacement. Can you advise how this can be done or a specific method to do so. Also if you have any suggestions fopr my current issues that woudl be helpfull as well.
