Hey stephen, I’ve added a mp3 mm jack. However, I cannot seem to get it to
play. I’ve tried pressing CD and Tape/MD, but both options do not recognize
the line in i’ve added. So mu question is, what ‘button’ do you press to
play your music from your ipod?

See Rider says:

happybarnie says:

It looks so easy to pull it out in the video but so far I have no luck when
I tried to stick in the screw driver and tried to pull it out. Would a DIN
tool help?

soldierkiller29 says:

what kind of screwdriver is that??

Mike Reilly says:

I’m having the same problem. Won’t budge!!!

shockwavevp says:

I’m about to put a new HU in my ’03 MX5 and this will come in major handy!
Thanks alot! It’s also nice to know you don’t have to have the removal
tools (since a screwdriver seems to work just as well)

Cybertronic says:

It happens when the clip gets bent… all I can say is good luck! There is
no real easy way to get it out once the clips are bent/damaged.

Pedro Riera says:

This is great, but not for 2006 Miata. The 2006 dash is completely
different from the one in the video.

HeresYourSign1 says:

Its not a screwdriver, its a pointed awl…and yes…some mazdas and a
single pin but many have the double…mazda and ford are sister
companies…and you will find they both have this type of din lock…in
almost every mazda…and hands down in every ford

scandmx5atl says:

any other NB2 drivers have their fuses go out in the BOSE headuniot

adwiens says:

Whoever designed the radio system in this Mazda needs to burn in a special
firey pit in hell. One side of my radio comes loose just fine but the other
motherfucker refuses to budge. &)$&! Thanks for the video though, it’s
right on.

malamutemikeUSA1 says:

Geeze that was fast

Cybertronic says:

I really really really hate how easy you made it look. I still had to
fiddle with it for a good 30 min before I got it to budge. I got the Double
Din non Bose version.

Purehoonage21 says:

hey man sweet video, but im having trouble trying to get it out, i bought
the double din removal kit which it like 2 bent pieces of metal that are
supposed to just click in, but one wont go in and the other one is locked
into place but wont release the clip, can you help me out please? 🙂

robrxn says:

Me too… thank you!!!

57JackCaptain says:

yea good vid, however my ’01 had a slight variation… it required the U
shaped tool, not a simple probe like you demonstrated. It required you to
insert two in each side, which was not too easy to get the radio out with!
You video was a great start though, thanks for posting!

Mike Flores says:

Thanks. Just what I was looking for.

mjdorgan81 says:

Thanks so much! Saved “hours” of frustration trying to figure it out.

UCSuperheroes says:

thanks man, looks like the same thing as my ’06 mazda tribute

jonrulesheppner says:

thank you for making the video man really helped

Totally Legit Gaming [TLEG] says:

Amazingly simple description! Thanks! I’m about to replace the stereo on
mine, so this guide really helped. Now I just need to get the “wedging”
down. 😉
