Daniel Guzman says:

My car had a bad upper control I didnt have a problem with the steering. The car pulls to the right after replacing this part? Any idea why

erknujoki do vuhhxa says:

Can you replace only the Ball joint from the upper control arm?

Zahar says:

Can anyone ELI5 how that rubber bumper on upper control arm works. Most explanations I found say that it prevents control arm from hitting your frame when you hit a bump / hole. But I can't really imagine how this bumper can touch anything in that area… I'm going to replace upper arm soon, and I noticed that every second arm is sold without this bumper. I also checked my arm and found that bumper is gone, but still I can see a bolt there that was holding that bumper…

Charlie's Maiden Covers says:

Janet Bostock says:

i have a 2013 mazda 6 , only 56,000 , but this arizona heat destoryed anything with rubber. or mazda/ford just has crap rubber…….my upper control arms rubber just crumbled. same with engine mounts, stabilizer bar , basically anything rubber.

Kenneth Erwin says:

I’m adding this comment to three videos: I did lower rearward, lower foreword, and upper control arm today. The part that’s super important is I struggled for like an hour trying to get the upper control arm bolts through the shocks. Because I was doing all three, I already had the lower part of the shock disconnected at that wishbone joint. As such, it was SUPER EASY to just disconnect the top of the strut under the hood to allow it to move out of the way to remove the inner upper control arm bolts. It took me an hour to figure out the one side, then about 10 minutes to do the other side.

1974steny says:

Why was there a need to replace this part?

Boston Boston says:

The control arm bushing threw bolts should be tightened at ride height. Meaning under the vehicles weight.

Jorge Guerra says:

Is this video also applicable to the 06, 07 and 08 Ford Fusion?

Rob Russell says:

You make these all look so easy. I appreciate you're working on something with some wear and tear on it, rather than a shiny clean underside.
