Adam Rosenberg says:

Did all this on my Honda Civic. Scrapped away every last bit, applied a rust inhibitor as well as etch primer and then built up with bondo glass. Two months later that dirty rust is already bubbling underneath the paint again.

Giovanni says:

Did u use the tiger hair fiberglass ??

Rostislav says:

This Mazda still had some steel left under the primer, some are already beyound repair and need new wheel arches, front fenders. I've seen few from 2002-2003 had huge holes in the underbody, this car is just awful, in areas where there is snow and salt on roads, this car just falls apart. Even the front struts rust through.

henri says:

Your should have sand blasted the area after grinding it, then use muratic acid to kill rust, then neutrized the muratic acide with baking soda , lastly use phosphoric acid to etch panel and a rust convertor , then epoxy primer… then use fiberglass filler … always use glove the oil from hands will start rusting the panel

Ashley Gills says:

What year is this Mazda6?

TheSwaggCuhh says:

"base and clear coat in next part". What happened to that part lol

Phil says:

Rust never sleeps!

Bojan says:

Dont touch steel with bare hands, because sweat on the hands cause corrosion. Its late in this case, but its better to do it regularly, for practice. You should use mask, because kit dust, solvent in paint, primer, etc. that things are very toxic.

stereotoned says:

Thanks man. Your video helped me alot in my project.

905Speed says:

you primed after 100 grit? final sand i would do atleast 180… and use spot putty for the small pin holes… decent job for a quick repair though

Mateusz says:

you should protect it before putting filler.

shortcut03 says:

put a mask on dumb ass

LoveCars says:

Taking your rust away from arch, doors or hood is always simply until you know how much of rust there are. Sometimes its easier just to cut and weld in a new metal but if you like to DIY you can use fiberglass and make it like your own game
