Tq specs for the spark plugs?

SYNTHETICDARKNESSRX8 says:

As the saying goes the coils are a 50k maintenance item lol. If it’s never
been done it’s always a good idea for plugs and wires that way you know
it’s been done and done right. Upgrading the coils is definitely worth it,
especially in the long run. You don’t have to change the coils just do the
tune up first and go from there. Hopefully that’s the problem and all is
fixed. You could always do a vacuum test also to make sure it’s still in
range before you start throwing money into it.

Thanks, man for this tutorial. From France

SYNTHETICDARKNESSRX8 says:

What sunny said. How many miles, year, and recalls/TSB done, last time
plugs where done, how old is the battery/cranking amps etc…?

SYNTHETICDARKNESSRX8 says:

You can. You’ll have to block it up so the bumper doesn’t scrap. You can
jack it up and crawl under it too. Just make sure it’s supported and you’ll
kinda lay more towards the tire with your head facing the back of the car
which is the way I do it, but you might find another way more comforting.
Then you just reach through the splash guard and pretty much to the same
thing.

SYNTHETICDARKNESSRX8 says:

Also does it do it more when warm/hot or cold?

SYNTHETICDARKNESSRX8 says:

Really depends. If it’s time for a plug change you’ll notice a big
difference, if your plugs are good you’ll notice a difference, but depends
on your own opinion on how big it is. I think it was worth it, and would do
it again.

felplay vina says:

what can be the problem for long cranking? it take like 6 second to start
up. battery good. I have read need to upgrade the starter motor.

Thanks for your help From UK 🙂

sunnyjason says:

either worn plugs, or bad ignition, lose of compression, or starter motor
needs upgrading.

You beat me to the draw lol.

Nate Dogg says:

In my car there is a lot of power loss in 2nd gear once I reach about 8500
rpm the car will begin to chug and lose power, when I shift into third, I
get the power back. My car is at 58K miles so I suspect it’s time to change
the plugs. Or is it time to change coils, plugs and wires?
