A special person in my life needed some work done on their vehicle. So I gladly volunteered to offer my services. Had to replace the trailing arm bushing as well which will be covered in a separate video.

Appreciate the video, showing all the steps was very helpful.
Like to add a couple of points, the shock needs to be cycled full stroke a couple of times (and kept upright) before fitting to the car to remove any air trapped in the oil.
Also when you did up the bottom bolt the suspension needs to be jacked up to its normal ride height…then tighten the bolt. This allows the rubber bushing to sit in its "normal" position when the car is a rest, so it has no added torque from the compression of the suspension.
New Sub here. Appreciate the no talk straight forward fix. Great content !
Why did you put the old one back on? Or was that for demonstration purpose?
I have a 09 MAZDA 3. There's at a rattling / clanking noise coming from the right rear. It only makes noises when going over a bump or something similar,, any idea what it could be our point me in the right direction where I can start looking. Someone please help,, thank you
The onw at the passenger side of my Mazda 2 broke. Do you recommend to replace the other one too?
Why do u have to replace that what does it do?
Beautiful cinematography and actually showing the important bits. This should be the golden standard for car repair videos.
If you can remember the size of the deep socket used for the two top bolts at all that would be great!
Learned 2 things while watching this – removal/installation of a bump stop and a new musician to listen to. Much appreciated.
where's the bb6? great vid as always
