Making a table saw sled or crosscut sled lets you get safe, repeatable, accurate cuts with your saw. My old table saw sled was worn out and didn’t have a integrated stop block. So I made a new one with a sliding stop block and some nice little features. I’ll also show you how to square your cross cut sled using a simplified version of the 5 cut method that doesn’t require all the math. #woodworking #tablesawsled #crosscutsled

Do I need to make a cross cut sled if I only have a small 8 1/4 in portable table saw. I only use it in my garage but just wondering. Most of the cross cut sleds I see here on YouTube are for large shop table saws. Thanks Chris
