KeleentProductions says:

KeleentProductions says:

How do i get the parking brake cable back into place with the spring ?

KeleentProductions says:

What do you mean other wise the caliper will not turn in?

KeleentProductions says:

rear pads start at 1:20

smileyspeedster says:

Of course the handbrake cable has allready been removed from the rear, and the top of the brake fluid reservoir has been unlocked, otherwise the caliper will not turn in. For the rest great info.

Nice video. This of course is how it looks when the rotors don’t have a big lip on them. Gets more fun when you can’t rotate the rear caliper off, or slide the front pads out so easily. See the sands museum site for ideas there. I hate the little spring clip in the rear calipers… can take a lot longer than that to get the spring, brake pad and pin all lined up.

Thanks for posting, just changed the pads on my Elise SC and this video was helpful but my fronts were not even close to that easy. Had to unbolt the caliper to get the pads free from the piston but even so, the video helped alot and made it an easy DIY project.
