oscar trujillo says:

Metal shift knobs are nice and all until its a hot day outside! Its like
touching Satan! It burns like hell

Lord Maul3 says:

I find it quite funny you’ll pay 90 G’s for this car but the turn signal
and wiper control stalks are the same and/or nearly identical as the ones
in my 2002 Ford Focus…..IJS! Still a nice car though!

Hank Hill says:

I love the car. It’s built for a track. It sounds fantastic. It drives and
sounds like a dream. At the core, this car could be wonderful if some
issues were remedied. Before anything else, this car is far overpriced. It
doesn’t even make sense. They’re using Ford bits everywhere, a Toyota
engine, a Toyota transmission, and a cheap-ass stereo that appears to be
aftermarket stereo with the brand label rubbed off. How in the world does
that come out to 90k being a fair price? A Porsche does the job much better
on the interior, and it has a 6 cylinder engine too. The other big issue
would be interior. No dead pedal is a humongous issue, for me. There is
also not a lot of room in there or in the trunk. Once again, the Porsche
spanks this car. That said, I’d absolutely buy this car the way it is, but
for 50k at the most. 90k could be much better spent even if it meant
sacrificing some performance along the way.

Ricky Vang says:

so….why isn’t toyota putting this transmission and engine into their
cars? celica comeback?

Steve W says:

I think they don’t sell well in the US, is not because of the safety
regulations but because they’re impossible to get in and out of. Aston
Martin was able to get exempt due to limited volume and Lotus’ volume is
even smaller!

Andrew Lopez says:

Once you mentioned the key, I noticed the Ford Transit uses the same design
and the turn signal switch and the wiper lever come from a 2007 Ford Focus!
😀 or maybe Ford just uses a bunch of parts from all over? :/

AnotherSiGuy says:

Wow how did you manage to get one of these lol? Looks like so much fun,
great review.

Jonathan Washington says:

If you stare at the front it looks just like a mx-5 happy face cute!!

daniel55645 says:

“this is the way old super cars were built” but… it’s not an old super
car. it’s new. and overall, i’m not impressed with the car, at all. I’d
take the elise any day over this.

flexor212000 says:

I really dislike this strobe effect and stock dance music. It comes off
really lame. Just show the car.

1bentley4ever says:

Well done reviewing this car Sofyan. While I’d rather have a 911 Carrera S
or Nissan GT-R, I have a lot of respect for Lotus cars, especially their
exquisite chassis tuning.

Justin Kelly says:

Why do people think the Stingray is rare or should get stares?! I see a Ton
of Vettes where I live.

MrCarGuy20 says:

Correction about the intro: Lotus sells variants of its Exige Cup R in the
U.S. as well. It’s not road-legal, but it counts.

Imad S says:

Holy hell that exhaust sounds amazing!! And too think it’s the same engine
as my dad’s ES 350 lol

Jude N. says:

I can do without the strobe light effect please. Hurts my eyes

PeanutBanane says:

Love that car. I’ll never imagine you upload a video like this. : )

daredevil7442 says:

Nice, Lotus needs to fix the lack of space in the footwell and only then,
many people would / will buy this car.

David C Schlesinger says:

The front grill remind me of Mazda’s smiley-face grill, and the shifter
reminds me of the trailer hitch ball.

gaivoron says:

What’s up with the camera flashing. I am about to get a seizure!

Josh Wallace says:

Really love your reviews man, i’ve seen em all. keep up the awesome work.

Brian Martone says:

Could have went with out the flashy intro lol..

Vulgora says:

how is this not a supra?
call me crazy that v6 sounds like a 4 compared to a 3800 pushrod buick

MoN27E says:

awesome review¡ looks like a mclareen maybe thats why the stares lol looks
so fun to drive

george aronis says:

wow Laughed my ass off when you said fat…

longbowdt says:

This is an excellent review: the good the bad, and the great things about
the car. thanks, man.

Andre Thais says:

For 90k I’d rather buy a used 360 Modena.

OnTheRocks says:

Yeah but, this or Z51 equipped C7?

Sarin Murlidar says:

Drop the price by $15k and it’s the perfect car

Clyde Ng says:

Am I the only one who thinks this car is a ripoff?

Ineeda Bath says:

Damn, what’s with the flashy dimming effect in the beginning?
Wanted to watch this but couldn’t due to that lame effect…
Cmon dude

D r Jezz says:

Very good and fair review, although I’m surprised about the comments on
hopping/fishtailing and a hard ride … admittedly I’m used to an S1 Elise,
but I didn’t find this myself and the Evora is pretty famous in Europe for
the exceptional compliance of it’s ride – it’s an area that it excels in,
along with steering feel of course. Can’t wait to see what the new more
powerful and lighter version is like in Geneva next year. Thanks!

Kevin Alan says:

“this… wheel well thing” *point* lol just call it a sill leading to the
wheel well. the driving tunnel may be tight but it’s much worse in higher
exotics. I recall the wheel humps on the Countach forced the pedals to be
awkwardly condensed near the center of the car, making for interesting
learning curve for even experienced drivers.

informedskeptic says:

This car would make an awful daily driver. The contortions necessary to get
behind the wheel would get old very fast. The interior parts and finishes
are not befitting a premium sports car. Parts and maintenance would eat you
alive compared to a Corvette. Overpriced for what you get.

S3maxime16 says:

Good review, and great cars, I would definitly love to own one, but I
honestly don’t think it would outrun much of it’s competition in the
corners. The GTR would probably be much faster on the Nurburgring (for
example), but would definitly not be as fun to drive.

MrGovenator1 says:

That MX5 smile though

oldtwins says:

Toyota and Lotus should just build a joint spec modern mid engine and call
it the MR2. Use the same power train, chassis, but have Toyota do the
interior and refinement.

Oscar Solares says:

maybe in all black

MixingGBP says:

I’ll take a 911, even a used one, any day over this thing. 93k? Ford
mechanical bits? Wow!

Or better yet, I’ll save $60k and get a Miata.

Greekanadian says:

“Some of the ergonomics are a little bit of a fail.”

Oh man, I laughed so hard.

ProRussianBear says:

Lotus is just awesome but i forgot so much about that company

bikephil says:

Corvette- an exotic??? I don’t think so, sweetie. And you might want to get
some new jeans. Those things are torn all up!

WubstepTurtle says:

oh hell yeah

05Forenza says:

I think Toyota V6’s sound fantastic in a basic Toyota. Tuned like that? Ugh
yes….

PremierAutoMan86 says:

2GR-FE is a Toyota/Lexus V6 lol…interesting choice of engine

basketball798 says:

Tht v6 wow! Best V6s are definitely made my toyota

Aubrey Beauford says:

Great job…love to see you get enthused about a car

mkelebay says:

That flickering at the start of the video is annoying as hell lol

Nazri Buang says:

I am still waiting for a four seater sports car with cool stereo and a silk
dashboard blast with air con. I prefer comfort than the stylish design.

CoolmanEX says:

Can you please do a review on a AUDI SQ5?
