Hey @JeromeFitness I’m here because not only do I want to be able to sit in
lotus position but it never crossed my mind to wonder if its even
confortable sitting in lotus pos ? Hence you are supposed to be comfortably
relaxed when meditating ?? Anone els feel free to answer my question plz
and thank you ο»Ώ

Bubblybradley says:

I can do this without even trying, is this just natural or a deformity?ο»Ώ

Cloud Jipsee says:

Can you put the link for itο»Ώ

JeromeFitness says:

@Borba231 Take time to recover and eat proper food and enough calories. I
couldn’t work out my upper body for the last 2 weeks and I just did some
backpack squats (so with weights in the backpack) as well as lunges and
abdominal exercises, hyperextensions and calf raises. That way I still did
some workouts. Make it a 3 days a week schedule and you can still do some
workout that way.

Lynda Baynum says:

Ok so I just tried this and just rolled over as I brought my second leg up.
Must keep practising. πŸ˜‰

JeromeFitness says:

@tH3sUbL1m1nALn33d Thanks a lot. I hope you’ll find the videos I will
upload in the future useful as well!

Rudy Bita says:

Hey,can you talk while exercisising, atlest onece, instead of narrating??

darkdzero says:

Oh my God! I just got lotus in my 1st try and I don’t stretch a lot is that
normal?

maryanne may says:

Thank you for this it was very helpfull

Bboy Teemo says:

So i tried this before and my knee got locked in! This has always happened
when i was a child so i dont know if this will affect my learning of the
Lotus because i really want to get it, but im also scared of attempting it
again and everyday i am always stretching my hips and this stretch to hope
one day that i will get it!

MikesMethods says:

@jlvi13 Just rice or pasta? You don’t ever get cravings to eat something
you really enjoy? For me it’s a constant battle since I love food so much.
After a while of dieting I will literally dream at night of freshly smoked
ribs being pulled off a grill. πŸ™‚ I always enjoy experiencing food from
other places that’s uniquely different from what I’m used to eating here.
Not familiar with Dutch cuisine at all.

dragon61rider says:

actually i meant that i can cross my left leg into the bent position where
its over my second on but my right foot is not quite there. I just tried it
again and after i got my left leg into the position i tried pulling my left
leg into in and i got my right heel on my leg i just cant get they rest of
my foot up there, so im pretty close

MikesMethods says:

Of all the stretches so far, this is easiest for me. I won’t even attempt
splits. What’s your favorite dutch dish or dish to eat that’s traditionally
has it’s roots in your country?

JeromeFitness says:

@TheHulk7788 Thanks a lot!

JeromeFitness says:

Oh, like that. I misunderstood, but yes, then you’re pretty close!

Blahvn vn says:

i do this easily, but still cant do the V-sit xD

Nabor Andariza says:

excellent technique, thanks for sharing, greetings from Chile

JeromeFitness says:

One leg is easy, it’s about the second one. That will be a lot more
difficult! You can not do it yet, because your glutes, hamstrings and inner
thighs are too stiff!

dragon61rider says:

i can almost do it without really trying. i can get my left leg easily into
it but my right leg cant. i can do do the splits all the way on both legs
but for some reason my knee or hip isnt as flexible on that leg

juteboxjaws says:

Im a guy and i have always been able to do this..When i was younger i used
to be able to put my 2 feet over my head..Im 23 now and can only put 1
over..But i was never able to do the splits!! way to hard!

JeromeFitness says:

@MikesMethods You’re askimg me or you mean that as a comment question for
next week? A typical Dutch dish, hm, difficult as I usually just prefer
rice and pasta. We often eat potatoes here. I would say stew from kale.

Borba231 says:

Hi, I am 15 years old and I started practicing, I have trained for three
months and the biggest part of the upper body, but then 1 week ago I broke
my arm and I stopped exercising, how to prevent the weakening of the
muscles, or he will remain in your state next 2 months? plss response,,
gretings from Croatia

HaveBlastWithJust says:

come on dont be so stingy and just show me…

Koba TheIndomitable says:

Damn my bow legs make this impossible for me :L

eriklares90 says:

i used to always sit in the lotus position when i was a kid, bu now, i
can’t do it, as soon as i started this video, i tried it, and felt a
painful pop in my knee. lol

JeromeFitness says:

I would have to start training for that myself and I’m short in time at the
moment, so sorry, not in the near future. Maybe later on. I was able to do
it though and the most simple technique you can use is just trying to reach
your neck with your foot and try to get closer and closer. Don’t put strain
on your muscles and joints though as that will not help you out at all!

skittleszy says:

Hey I just did it πŸ™‚ I’m quite flexible so it took an hour lol. Btw you
should check out eddie bravo’s video on flexibility and work ethic. He’s a
jijitsu black belt and does the lotus sit handstand.

Olivier Demers says:

Thanks alot πŸ˜€

Borba231 says:

@jlvi13 thanks a lot, I wish you good time

JeromeFitness says:

@damivoietube Not with this camera. It has a bad sound quality, which is
why I narrate. Besides that I often say the words ‘eh’ and stuff like that
and miss-pronounce, so I prefer to narrate as I can cut out the mistakes.
Besides that, this takes less time, so otherwise my videos would be too
long.

George Crozer says:

2:22 I sit like that all the time.do you?

pingolexx says:

i have just suscribed, you are a very dedicated person πŸ™‚

JeromeFitness says:

@7Annika2011 I should have done that, yes πŸ™‚

Olivier Demers says:

I can do this now yeah the next thing i really want to learn is to put my
feet behind my head, can you do it? If yes could you make a tutorial plz πŸ˜€

HaveBlastWithJust says:

when do you show your pectorail muscles dance just for me?

tH3sUbL1m1nALn33d says:

Subscribed, I was looking for some body exercises for martial arts and
ended up on your channel, great videos, keep up the good work!

JeromeFitness says:

@tillybooxxxx That’s possible. Although you already gave reasons why you
could do it this fast. You’re 11 year old and you are a girl. Guys are not
this flexible to start with and the younger you are, the easier flexibility
can be achieved. Nevertheless, it’s great that you can do it, so well done!

JeromeFitness says:

@MikesMethods No, not just rice and pasta. I meant rice and pasta as
starchy products instead of potatoes. I enjoy food too, but I often care
more about nutritional value.
