I was able to check the fountain in the next installment, and I think it
might be the same – at least without the blood. Unless the face changed,
and only the liquid was a sanity effect? I don’t know.
The ninth installment makes me pine for Storage again. ๐
I’m digging the plot so far, and the creature in Amnesia isn’t judgmental
and painfully slow. It straight-up wants you dead, so unlike Silent Hill,
there’s a stalker feeling to be found here.
The Shadow still hunts you. Where it has been is shown with the Caustic Goo
(kinda like ghostly slime). It doesn’t care about the Gatherers and Hunters
just the chance to have you but it plays by blowing out lights when you
enter certain areas and roaring to mess with your sanity.
Ohhhh, there’s a “fun” part, alright.

I could never get into Amnesia before because the story seemed really slow,
but somehow it is just more awesome listening to you. ๐ Excellent 50th
Lets Play choice!! And man…that fountain…. Also, if I could recommend a
future game, I’d love to see you play Ib. RPGmaker game for freeware and I
could get you a link to a new updated version. ๐ Multiple endings based on
your actions and the plot is basically an evil artistic version of Night at
the Museum. Interested?

I just don’t like Amnesia. It’s kinda like if Pyramid Head was the only
enemy in Silent Hill and you weren’t allowed to look at him. Also the plot
is very stale in Amnesia, but that’s just me.
If you do look into it, be sure to read the note that comes with the
download. There is a specific video file that seems to glitch for most
people depending on their computer. If it glitches, you can play it
perfectly fine outside the game in its own file, but the note can tell you
a few tricks that may fix the problem.
It’s a lot pinker than I would imagined that a shadow would be.
Dude just got to say i love how you read the shit you find in games and do
good at it. it allows us to sit back and watch/listen and enjoy so we don’t
gotta keep pausing the video like some others make you do. and i find how
the castle or what ever keeps changing
it’s good for what it is, that’s for sure. but if you do play it just make
sure you don’t try to watch the flash animation thing in the book section.
that tends to crash the game.

Well the pink flesh is only the stuff that the Shadow leaves behind when
it’s interacting with the world. The shadow itself is also more of a
lovecratian god.

(to add a bit of random info: “Biblia” is Latin, like most of the signs in
this game. Latin used to be the language of science (and educated) people
at that time, pretty much what English is today.)

After watching a few of your let’s plays, I really wanted to let you know
that I ABSOLUTELY love them. I’m a huge sucker for games with a good story
and a lot of atmosphere, but I’m not much of a gamer myself. Therefore, I
love watching other people play. Unfortunately, a lot of let’s plays can
get annoying when they player is talking over things and is generally being
distracting. Your voice is always calm, and actually adds to the
experience. Glad I found your channel. Keep up the good work!
