Thats the motor designed from the Bedford/Vauxhall sloper 4 cylinder isnt
it? I vaguely remember the bearing shells were the same as on the Lotus
motor apart from the locating tabs being slightly different but the block
could be modified to use them… I think the reason people went that route
was the bearings were a fraction of the price than if they were purchased
from lotus! lol cool vid John iv actually never seen one of those motors in
the flesh :-)
