How do you know the age? I don’t know the actual age of mine.
I was given one of these guitars yesterday. Looking all over the web to
find a one like it and finally found your video. I also need to make a lot
of repairs (pick ups are secured with duct tape right now!) Mine is a lot
like yours, complete with fake logo on the headstock. Do you know what year
yours was made?
a buddy of mine had one of these back in the late 80’s and it had a
”silver burst” finish on it and two open face humbuckers played and
sounded just like a real les paul. wish i could find one just like it today.
I love the older Lotus guitars. I just got my hands on a junked “LPS” type.
Perfect neck and fretboard, and the hardware is decent, too. Keep jamming.
(And nice finish!)
“I love you but I got to shut you off” lol
I’ve had this guitar since the early 90’s. My Brother in Law had it prior
to me. I have no idea how he obtained it but he doesn’t even play guitar. I
believe this guitar was made in the 70’s. There is not date anywhere on the
guitar. I’ve had the pickups out there is nothing in the cavity to identify
the year. It’s a good guitar though. I am thinking about putting in some
Seymour Duncan Pickups though… Will be soon. I’ll post another vid with
the upgrades one day.
my dad has a lotus les paul from i think 1970 and i would take it over a
gibson any day it plays great and sounds even better
The lotus company started in the 70s and ended in the 90s i have a 70s les
paul and i just tricked it out i love the way it sounds
Have any pictures of it?
