its cool to have, but if your using 3 coco nara coals you end up burning
the shisha and it lasts no more then an hour, and if you use 2 coco naras
it doesn’t generate enough heat. not to mention on how you have to squeeze
the coals in when using 3.
What brand vortex bowl is that

I’ve had my lotus for a while, my only complaint is that it’s so perfect
that I refuse to go back to foil.
Was it necessary to modify the Sahara Vortex bowl’s spire? I have 2 Sahara
Vortex bowls (one pyrex and one ceramic) and just ordered my lotus. I’d
love to use it with the pyrex bowl but I’m concerned about modifying the
spire.

concerned about having to sand down the spire. Also, how stable is the
Lotus on the bowl? It looks like it might be prone to falling if the hookah
is jostled.
Are you using it with those bowls only or do you have other bowls? How are

Hi there! First off, thank you so much for purchasing the Kaloud Lotus.
Most Vortex bowls are fine, however, some do require the spire to be shaved
down. Let us know how it fits when you get it. Thank you!

After getting my lotus I did have to modify my Sahara vortex somewhat, but
it took less than 30 minutes with a good file and would have taken even
less time with the proper tools. First time use I got huge clouds and
great, long-lasting flavor. Also only had to use 2 coals when I normally
use 3, and they lasted _much_ longer. Fantastic product.
