Lucas27042605 says:

I have a Samsung Note 3 and every time when I use the Speed Dial mode to
make a telephone call, there is always this error message being shown :- ”
CONNECTION PROBLEM OR INVALID MMI CODE”, and the phone would fail to dial.

For anyone who is facing the same problem there is a VERY SIMPLE way of
fixing this problem.

Instead of trying out all sort of complicated methods that involves
“resetting” of this and that, or “unlocking of PUK” code or what not, just
do this –

HOLD that particular speed dial button (which you had stored a number in)
for a few seconds longer and the phone auto-dialing will starts. DO NOT
press that speed dial button and then press the CALL button. It does not
works this way for the newer version of android phones (dunno why). By
pressing the CALL button it will activate the “Invalid MMI Code” message.

Hope this helps others facing this really perplexing problem in speed
dialling. It certainly works for me !!

said mmi error code

Michael A says:

Had this same error when dialing a number with * in the front. Eg. *123 the
solution for this was to add a + sign before the first digit. *+123 worked.
This is on a galaxy s4.

i have a single sim sgh-1747m it was working fine and after a software
update the other day it start with the connection problem or invalid mmi
code what to do?

DCBobby says:

OK. The information printed on the air time voucher had the first three
digits to call incorrect. Vodacom provided me with the correct opening
three-digit code. But you should not have assumed in your video that it’s
always caused by a second SIM card…

DCBobby says:

This advice is completely WORTHLESS. I have a Samsung Galaxy 4 and it has
only ONE SIM card – there is no second SIM card for me to deactivate.

Jerry Dmytrash says:
